First of all, special thanks go to Chuck Maitland for being our Master Chef for the Bluffs party. Great company, delicious food, and a gorgeous Bluffs' sunset were the setting for this annual event.
Thanks once again to Jim LoBretto, for lighting our path to the beach to watch the South Haven fireworks with the TIKI torches, a sight we look forward to year after year. If you are here on a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday come join the fun at the pool at 9:00 a.m. Our very own Jeanie Harris is leading a group in water aerobics. No sign up required, just come--the more the merrier. The Board once again is reminding residents and guests about the stagnant warm water created at the end of our waterfall. We discouraged playing in this area. Inner tubes, bathing suits, toys, bodies, are sitting in this, which can easily bring bacteria into the pool as well as staying on their bodies. The board does not consider this healthy water. Also building of dams is discouraged, we need the stream to remind the way nature forms it. Of course, climbing on our waterfall is considered unsafe. This summer certainly reinforces what we all know--that South Haven is the best place to be! Our pool and beach have had a workout and everyone is doing their part in keeping them clean and safe.
